🩸 17th Blood Donation Camp – 15th August 2023 🩸

On 15th August 2023, commemorating the 77th Independence Day of India, Vizag Volunteers successfully organized its 17th Blood Donation Camp at Shell Petrol Bunk, Sriharipuram, Gajuwaka, in collaboration with Lions Blood Bank. The event combined the spirit of patriotism with the noble cause of saving lives, encouraging citizens to contribute to society through voluntary blood donation.

The blood donation camp witnessed the enthusiastic participation of donors from different walks of life who came forward to support this life-saving initiative. Through the collective efforts of donors, volunteers, and organizers, a total of 23 units of blood were successfully collected during the camp. These donations will play a crucial role in supporting patients undergoing surgeries, emergency treatments, accident care, and various medical procedures that require timely blood transfusions.

A key member of Vizag Volunteers was appointed as the Team Leader for the event and played a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of the camp. Under their leadership, the volunteer team efficiently managed registrations, donor coordination, crowd management, and awareness activities.
