🩸 19th Blood Donation Camp – 12th October 2023 🩸

On 12th October 2023, Vizag Volunteers successfully organized its 19th Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Lion’s Blood Bank. The camp was conducted on the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Shri G. Suresh Sir, honoring his legacy of service and commitment to society through a meaningful act that can save countless lives.

The blood donation camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from donors, volunteers, and well-wishers who came forward to support this noble cause. With the dedicated efforts of our core volunteer team, the event was organized efficiently and smoothly, ensuring a safe and comfortable donation experience for all participants.

A total of 50 units of blood were collected during the camp, contributing significantly to the blood reserves required for emergency treatments, surgeries, accident victims, and patients undergoing critical medical care. Each donation has the potential to save multiple lives, making every contributor a true lifesaver.

Our volunteers played a vital role in coordinating registrations, guiding donors, managing logistics, and creating awareness about the importance of regular blood donation. One of the key members of Vizag Volunteers served as the Team Lead for the event, successfully coordinating all activities and motivating participants to come forward and donate blood.

The camp also served as an awareness platform, educating people about the importance of voluntary blood donation and dispelling common myths associated with the process. Many first-time donors participated with confidence and enthusiasm, inspired by the message of service and humanity.

Reaching the milestone of 19 successful blood donation camps is a proud achievement for Vizag Volunteers.
