Safety Precautions

Due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, we are following all precautions to avoid spreading the virus. You are advised to wear a mask throughout the cleanup and maintain 2 feet of physical distance. Please wear good quality shoes to avoid any cuts from broken glass pieces.

Gloves

You will be provided with good quality gloves to avoid direct contact of hands with waste.

Cleanup bags

We use High Density Poly Ethylene bags (Rice bags) to collect the waste on beaches due to their durability

With the iconic Kalam View Point (Top of Vizag) nearby, this location reminds us of the importance of preserving and protecting the natural beauty of our city.

Dear Vizag Volunteers, We have successfully completed our 566th Beach Clean-Up on 25th Aug, 2024. 20 volunteers participated and contributed 60 hours of their precious time together and collected more than 24 bags of trash

566th Beach Cleanup activity

The Beach

The beach is near Jodugullapalem and provides an exquisite view of the Vizag seashore. Kalam View Point, also called Top of Vizag, is one of the most beautiful viewpoint in Vizag. A coastal sprawl at a distance of 10 KM from Visakhapatnam city, which is full of attractions, With a large stretch of virgin beaches with gentle waves, this place brings the explorers to the another world.
