Safety Precautions
Due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, we are following all precautions to avoid spreading the virus. You are advised to wear a mask throughout the cleanup and maintain 2 feet of physical distance. Please wear good quality shoes to avoid any cuts from broken glass pieces.
Gloves
You will be provided with good quality gloves to avoid direct contact of hands with waste.
Cleanup bags
We use High Density Poly Ethylene bags (Rice bags) to collect the waste on beaches due to their durability

Vizag Volunteers successfully conducted the 589th Beach Cleanup Activity on 26th January 2025, bringing together dedicated volunteers with a shared vision of protecting our coastline.
The activity focused on cleaning the beach, spreading environmental awareness, and encouraging responsible actions towards keeping our surroundings clean.
Volunteers actively participated in waste collection and contributed their efforts towards creating a cleaner and greener Vizag.

🌊 589th Beach Cleanup Activity – 26th January 2025 🌊
On 26th January 2025, Vizag Volunteers successfully organized the 589th Beach Cleanup Activity, continuing our mission to protect Vizag’s coastline and promote environmental responsibility within the community.
The cleanup activity brought together passionate volunteers who dedicated their time and efforts towards cleaning the beach, collecting waste, and restoring the beauty of the coastal environment. Their participation reflected the importance of teamwork, awareness, and collective responsibility in protecting nature.
The initiative aimed to create awareness about the impact of pollution on our beaches and marine ecosystems while encouraging people to adopt cleaner and more sustainable practices in their daily lives.
