632 Beach Cleanup

On 2nd November 2025, Vizag Volunteers Association successfully completed its 632nd Beach Cleanup Activity, continuing its mission of promoting environmental conservation and community participation. The initiative brought together 15 dedicated volunteers who contributed their time and effort towards protecting and preserving the natural beauty of Vizag’s coastline.

Over the course of three hours, volunteers actively cleaned the beach and collected 14 bags of waste, including plastic litter, snack wrappers, birthday celebration waste, poppers, blasters, discarded idols, and other non-biodegradable materials. Their collective efforts helped reduce pollution on the shoreline and created a cleaner, healthier environment for beach visitors and marine ecosystems.

The cleanup activity served as a reminder of the growing impact of waste pollution on coastal areas and highlighted the importance of responsible waste disposal. Through their actions, volunteers demonstrated how individual responsibility and community involvement can play a significant role in protecting the environment.

The event showcased remarkable teamwork, enthusiasm, and commitment from all participants. Working together with a shared purpose, volunteers helped restore the cleanliness of the beach while inspiring others to become more environmentally conscious and actively participate in conservation efforts.
