🌊 Beach Cleanup 680 | A Day Dedicated to Our Coast

Beach Cleanup 680 was a day of collective effort, environmental awareness, and community participation. 9 enthusiastic volunteers came together with a common goal—to remove accumulated waste from the beach and help restore the natural beauty of the shoreline.

Throughout the activity, the volunteers covered different sections of the beach, picking up waste that had been scattered across the sand and surrounding areas. After the cleanup, a total of 20 bags of trash were collected.

The waste gathered included plastic wrappers, nano-plastic, glass bottles, food packaging, cloth materials, birthday and party decorations, and various other forms of litter. The variety of waste found highlights how everyday discarded items can gradually accumulate in public spaces and become a concern for both the environment and the people who use these areas.

The cleanup was more than simply collecting waste. It was an opportunity for the volunteers to spend their time working towards something that benefits the wider community. Each person played a role—from spotting and collecting smaller pieces of plastic to handling larger waste items and filling the collected trash into bags.

The presence of nano-plastic and other small fragments was particularly significant, as these materials can be difficult to notice and remove once they become mixed with sand. Glass bottles and decorative materials were also carefully collected to make the area safer for visitors and other people using the beach.

By the end of the activity, 20 bags of waste had been removed from the shoreline, leaving behind a cleaner and more welcoming space. The effort also served as a reminder that maintaining public spaces requires consistent participation and responsible waste disposal.
