Bangarutalli Old Age Home

On 30th April 2022, Vizag Volunteers visited Bangaru Thalli Old Age Home as part of the Special People Project, with the objective of understanding the needs and challenges faced by the elderly residents. The visit was conducted as a survey initiative to assess how the organization could provide meaningful support and improve the quality of life of those living in the home.

During the visit, the volunteers spent time interacting with the residents, listening to their stories, experiences, and concerns. These heartfelt conversations provided valuable insights into the daily lives of the elders and helped the team better understand their requirements. The residents warmly welcomed the volunteers, and the interactions created an atmosphere of care, compassion, and mutual respect.

Through the survey, the team identified that the old age home was in urgent need of several essential items and resources required for the well-being and comfort of its residents. Understanding these needs firsthand reinforced the importance of community support and motivated the volunteers to plan future initiatives that could address these challenges effectively.

The volunteers left the old age home with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to return with the support needed by the residents. The survey laid the foundation for future service activities aimed at improving the lives of the elders and ensuring that their needs were not overlooked.
