🌾 Raithu Event – 3rd Organic Kisan Mela | 6th to 9th January 2023 🌾

From 6th January to 9th January 2023, Vizag Volunteers actively participated in and supported the 3rd Organic Kisan Mela held at Gadiraju Palace near MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam. The four-day event served as a platform to promote organic farming, support local farmers, and create awareness among citizens about the benefits of consuming organic and naturally grown products.

The Organic Kisan Mela brought together farmers, agricultural entrepreneurs, organic producers, and consumers under one roof, creating a vibrant marketplace dedicated to sustainable agriculture and healthy living. Farmers from different regions showcased a wide variety of organic products, including fresh fruits and vegetables, grains, pulses, spices, natural food products, and other eco-friendly agricultural produce.

Vizag Volunteers played a significant role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the event. Our key volunteers worked closely with participating farmers, assisting them in transporting, arranging, and displaying their organic products at the designated stalls. Their support helped farmers efficiently set up their exhibits and present their products to visitors in an organized manner.

Throughout the four-day event, volunteers were actively involved in crowd management, visitor assistance, and logistical coordination. They guided visitors to various stalls, provided information about the exhibition layout, and ensured a comfortable experience for both exhibitors and attendees. Their dedication and disciplined approach helped maintain order and efficiency, even during peak visitor hours.
