On 29th January 2026, the PCOD-OS Awareness Team successfully organized an insightful PCOD and Menstrual Health Awareness Program at G.V.P College of Engineering for Women, Visakhapatnam.
The session focused on creating awareness about Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD), menstrual wellness, and healthy lifestyle practices among young women. Students actively participated in the interactive session, showing great enthusiasm and curiosity toward understanding hormonal and reproductive health.
Key topics discussed included cycle syncing, early symptoms of PCOD, nutrition and lifestyle management, exercise, stress management, and the importance of mental well-being. The program also encouraged students to openly discuss menstrual health and seek timely medical guidance when needed.
With engaging discussions, awareness activities, and student interaction, the session created a positive and informative environment on campus. The initiative is part of the broader mission of the PCOD-OS Awareness Movement, which aims to empower and educate 1 lakh women and girls across India about reproductive and hormonal health awareness.
